Sautéed Meatbug

Obtained by killing/crushing Meatbugs and looting them. Two Meatbugs sit along the road at the very start of the game, and several more are found along the roads of the Old Camp's Outer Ring (notably the road from the arena leading to the South Gate).

Base material

Hellcaps grow across the open areas of the Colony. For Snaf's Recipe, the easiest batch is near the cave holding Nek's corpse (Nek was the first Shadow Snaf sent to find Hellcaps). Reach it by heading southwest from the Old Camp's South Gate; the cave is beneath a large rocky outcrop and is guarded by 3 Molerats that must be defeated first.
