Thorus sends you to scout the rogues camped in the northwestern canyon and decide, through their leader 
Quentin, whether they threaten the Old Camp. The camp sits behind a long run of caves and platforms, and the humans guarding the way in will not be talked down.
Pack for a fight. The men inside cannot be bribed or talked past, so you are cutting your way through.
- Healing potions.
- A decent weapon.
- Good armor if you have it.
- A
Scavenger mount if you own one, to cover the ground faster.
Head out through the Old Camp's north exit and cross the bridge. If you have run the Focus Stone questline this will feel familiar, since it heads toward the same general area.
Past the bridge, go straight on and up the grassy mound ahead. You will see a cave, but do not go in from below. Climb up and around it instead, heading right over the top. There may be enemies up here, so fight them, or just ride past on a Scavenger.
On the ledge above the cave, turn back on yourself. If you rode in, dismount here. Enter the cave from this upper ledge. Hostile humans meet you inside, and they will not deal, so cut through them.
Past the bodies, go up the wooden platform and across the wooden bridge into the next section. Jump up the scaffolding and you reach a set of stairs. Follow them all the way up. There are side rooms worth a look for loot, but the way to Quentin is straight up. At the top, head outside.
Outside, keep forward, then turn right and pass through the camp. Go back into the caves and follow them through to the far side. Out in the open again, head all the way to the back and look for a small waterfall. Turn left at it and keep straight on.
Cross the bridge ahead. A hut sits straight in front of you. Go through it, and Quentin greets you on the other side with a short scene. Talk to him and run the dialogue out.
With Quentin sized up, return to the Old Camp and report to Thorus. That closes the quest.
